Founder, Co-CEO, Animator
Amouri Edwards
Amouri Edwards is a 2D animator, and multimedia artist. Surrounded by creativity, this Brooklyn NYC creator is always looking for new ideas, new mediums. Amouri is continuously working on projects to widen her portfolio as she completes her BFA in 2D animation with a minor in Film at Pratt Institute. Her last award winning short film Chrysanthemums, in which she wrote, co-directed, and starred in, tells a story of three high-school friends struggling with their mental health. Amouri runs her own independent animation studio, Indigo Studios. She loves to tell stories, no matter what art form. Creativity runs through her.

Co-CEO, Producer
Julia Messick
Julia Messick is an award-winning filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY with over 8 years of directing experience. As a producer, she is skilled in managing productions with the ability to execute a creative vision with care. She recently graduating from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Film and a minor in Fashion Design. She has been featured on the Film Sessions Podcasted hosted by the Student World Impact Film Festival for her film “Nightlight”, and highlighted for her thesis film production “Funnel Cake” in the Volusia Hometown News Journal. Her experimental film “Solstice” is part of the Changing Minds initiative launched by Community Access, allowing the film to start conversations about mental health challenges through schools, libraries, and communities. She currently serves as a Content Creator and Editor for Lighthouse Ladies LLC., a women-founded international arts initiative for film and theater.
Julia enjoys films that blend fantasy with drama, creating whimsical narratives that convey deeper messages and reflect her own experiences.

Animator, Cinematographer, Editor
James Moutsos
James Moutsos is a stopmotion animator and filmmaker based in Brooklyn, interested in telling wacky stories that explore youth, finding one’s place in the world, and the strange happenings of modern society! Blending genres and storytelling mediums together, James’ narratives often provide otherworldly thrills, while still keeping a grounded and relatable humor and heart. After graduating with a BFA from Pratt Institute, James is now creating his own animations, films, and illustrations, as well as finding others to collaborate on projects with!

Assistant Director, Screenwriter, Sound Editor
Michael Cherry
Michael Cherry is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker, who has had experience writing, directing, and editing several short films throughout his career. Having earned his BFA in Film/Video Production from Pratt Institute, Michael has dabbled in many various genres and cinematic mediums over the years, including narrative shorts as well as experimental and interview-form documentaries. He is primarily focused on creating dramatic works that veer into various genres, creating a combined effect that is at one time surreal, and other times realistic. The dissolution of reality, perspective, and existentialism are frequent themes in his work, and he often tries to explore the nature of the human psyche by setting his stories in dark, challenging environments.
